Terms of service

Last updated October 11, 2026

The short version: use Featdock lawfully, be upfront with your users, and pay for your plan if you choose a paid one. Paddle handles payments. You own your content and can leave whenever you like.

These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Featdock (“we”, “us”) for using the Featdock dashboard, SDK, hosted pages and this website (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Featdock for a company, you confirm you can agree on its behalf, and “you” means that company.

Your account

Give us accurate details and keep access to your email secure, since that's how you sign in. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what teammates you invite do there. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed it without permission.

Using Featdock on your site

When you install Featdock, it shows widgets to people who use your site or app (“end users”) and collects what they send through them. For that data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy. You agree to:

  • tell your end users, for example in your own privacy policy, that you use Featdock and what it collects;
  • have a lawful basis for any personal data you send with identify() or track(), and not send sensitive data such as health information, government ids or payment card numbers;
  • have permission to publish any testimonial you display, and make sure everything you publish through widgets is accurate and lawful.

Acceptable use

Don't use Featdock to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • publish content that is deceptive, hateful, or harmful;
  • send spam, malware or phishing through widgets or hosted pages;
  • probe, overload or work around the limits of the service, or use another customer's keys;
  • copy the service to build a competing product.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Plans, payments and taxes

Free plan. Includes every widget, within the usage limits listed on our pricing page. Widgets and hosted pages on the free plan show a small “Powered by Featdock” badge.

Paid plans. Startup is $29 a month or $290 a year, and Growth is $79 a month or $790 a year, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. Each plan includes every widget and differs in its usage limits, branding and support. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Current prices and limits are on our pricing page. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.

Usage limits. Your widgets keep working when you reach a limit. We warn you at 80%, ask you to upgrade, and never cut anything off mid-month without notice. If you stay over a limit, we'll ask you to upgrade or reduce your usage, and we'll give you notice before anything changes.

Changing plans. You can upgrade or downgrade from Settings → Billing. An upgrade applies straight away and Paddle charges the difference for the rest of the period; a downgrade applies at the end of the period.

Paddle is our merchant of record. Paddle.com sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, calculates and remits VAT and sales tax, and issues your invoices. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself, and your statement shows Paddle as the seller.

Cancelling. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the free plan; your widgets and data stay.

Refunds. If you're charged by mistake, or you ask within 14 days of a payment, email [email protected] and we'll refund it through Paddle.

Your content

You own what you put into Featdock, such as changelog posts, banner and survey copy, and what your end users submit to you, such as feature requests, bug reports and testimonials. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you.

You can delete your content at any time, and we'll send you a copy of it on request. When you delete a project or your account, we delete its content from our systems, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Featdock fast and available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Featdock and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. If we end the service as a whole, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid time you haven't used.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account owners or show a notice in the dashboard before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Featdock after that means you accept the new terms.
